Sister Antoinette Van Galen, OSB has been a Benedictine Sister since 1946. She holds a BA and MA in Education and MA in Guidance and Counseling.
Sister has served in many ministries including Catholic School Education – as a teacher, administrator, and guidance counselor; Archdiocesan Supervisor of Catholic Schools; Secondaria teacher in Mexico City; Presenter of Spirituality Classes at our Health & Wholeness Center and Omega Retreat Center; and Director of our Oblate Program.
She is an avid reader of both fiction and nonfiction, and she is generous with her time in helping others. Sister loves music, especially the organ, which she often plays during Liturgy. Sister Antoinette is grateful to be one of our nonagenarians and says, “I use my God given gifts and talents to the best of my ability, and I always remember each day is a gift of living.”
